Multicultural Arts of Western Australia is a unique membership based arts organisation which specialises in fostering and promoting world cultures within Western Australia. It is the only organisation in the state which has access to a diverse range of cultural talent and audiences.

Established in 1983 as the Ethnic Music Centre, the organisation grew into the Multicultural Arts Centre of WA. It recently underwent a major restructure which led to the creation of a new Board of Management, relocation to a new premises in Fremantle, the development of a world class corporate identity for KULCHA and detailed marketing and programming plan to position the organisation for the future.

KULCHA is now ready to capitalise on the growth potential which has been identified for multicultural arts in Western Australia.

MISSION

Multicultural Arts of Western Australia will recognise and promote the cultural diversity of contemporary Australia through an appreciation practice and presentation of multicultural arts.
