In an innovative partnership with Kulcha Multicultural Arts WA and the Guildford Hotel, the City of Swan will be presenting Kulcha on Swan - a series of world music performances throughout February, March and April 2002.
Over six summer Sundays, audiences from Swan and neighbouring communities will have the opportunity to enjoy the performances of artists from the musical worlds and traditions of North and South America, Africa, and Europe. A different musical flavour can be sampled at each concert.
Kulcha on Swan provides a significant opportunity for audiences in the north-eastern region to experience and enjoy culturally diverse music and arts.
It is intended that this initial six-concert program will lead the way towards a more consistent presence for Kulcha in the region.
Kulcha has selected a vibrant and diverse program of artists and music from around the world to bring north of the river.

The Guildford Hotel is located on the corner of James and Johnson Streets, conveniently opposite the Guildford train station. Performances in February and March will be outdoor in the cool and shady courtyard and April will be inside the historic hotel.
