LC Salsa LC Salsa is a combination of various musical ingredients from Cuba, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, New York and Miami. One of the leading Latin bands in WA, LC Salsa captures the flavour of Latin America through its impressive delivery of sounds based on infectious rhythms such as the mambo, merengue, rumba and cha-cha-cha. These rhythms are the foundations of Salsa, Latin Jazz, and Merengue Hip-Hop as well as Acid Jazz. The musicians use various instruments to produce passionate bolero, sensual merengue and powerful rumba and guaguanco music. On stage at any one time you will hear and see the piano, synthesisers, conga drum, tumbadora drum, quinto drum, guiro, timbales, bongo drums, bass, quira, maracas, clave, cow bells, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, soprano saxophone and transverse flute.
