The members of the band all met at the WA Conservatorium and started playing together early in '96. Libby Hammer is the lead vocalist who provides an irrepressible charisma on stage, scatting and purring like the best of them, the total entertainer.
The band is influenced by all the jazz greats plus the phenomenon of"lounge" music. Their repertoire consists of favourite tunes plus the standard fare for a jazz band; from soft dinner music to swingin' dance numbers.
