After an extraordinary performance at the 2001 World Music Gigs, and being the surprise hit of the 2001 Fairbridge Festival, Cianan return to Perth to play a mix of traditional Irish and original compositions.
The members of Cianan view traditional music as the source of their inspiration, rather than their destination. Featuring instruments such as the mandolin, whistles, cittern, fiddle and concertina. Cianan manage to balance their traditional folk music origins with a very modern edge.
