MIRIAM LIEBERMAN - WITH KATE ADAMS Supported by Spirit of Africa
Miriam Lieberman's voice has been described as "both heartbreaking and uplifting". Recently returned from further kora study under master player, Toumani Diabate, Miriam will be joined by superb cellist, Kate Adams. With a strong West African flavour, her songs chart journeys around the world. Both her albums Naked Without My Cello and Wakeli will be available on the night. They will be joined by Spirit of Africa, featuring George Joe and Sally Quealy.

Nidia Hansen - DAWN
Exhibition Opening
Nidia Hansen's paintings are inspired by her interest in metaphysics, life patterns and underwater life.
Using acrylics and mixed media her works reveal a passion and talent for the use of bold colours and compositions for non-representational or figurative art. With her nature-based style,
she also uses organic materials to create unique works with a mystical air.

IRANIAN SHORT FILM FESTIVAL
KULCHA and the Iranian Short Film Association present two nights of original, contemporary films from Iran's most exciting and cutting edge short film makers. Iran may not be a country many associate with film, but beneath the surface is a surprisingly vibrant creative industry. This is a rare opportunity to see the work of some of Iran's most promising talents. Both nights will feature collaborative, improvised performances from Persian traditional group Kemia and contemporary Persian jazz ensemble, Daramad.

BOLO
Senegalese master drummer Djibril Diagne is back with his new group Bolo. Djibril is a Griot musician who started playing drums when he was only six years old. He has travelled the world performing as a lead djembe player and musical director for some of Senegal's most famous ballets, including his own Ballet African. Djibril is a powerhouse performer not to be missed.
