Neda Starac's paintings reflect the delicate intricacy of nature when viewed both intimately and from great distances.
The intricate arrangement of colour and detail in her work acts as an expressionof her emotional connection to the natural world. Neda's latest work is informed by her travels through
Malaysian Borneo, Thailand, Europe and rural Australia.

Selendang Sutra present an exotic selection of Indonesion cultural dances and traditional music. TARAF DE HAIDOUKS - NO MAN IS A PROPHET IN HIS OWN LAND
Elsa Dahmani's documentary No Man Is A Prophet In His Own Land follows the legendary Romani band Taraf de Haidouks in the lead up to a series of special concerts. Taraf de Haidouks are easily the world's most successful Gypsy band, having collaborated with the Kronos Quartet and featured in the Johnny Depp film The Man Who Cried. This is a truly remarkable film, and an unmissable event for any fans of Gypsy music. DJ Gingerbread will be spinning the best Balkan Beats before and after the film.

ECHOES OF DJANGO -
Echoes of Django started as two musicians (French guitarist Romain Guery and Australian guitarist Aaron Deacon) performing old Django Gypsy jazz. Throughout the busking sessions in Fremantle, their music began to grow, resulting in new compositions with hot improvisation and creative ideas. With the addition of upright bassist Gavin Shoesmith and violinist Freya Peterson, the band has grown to be one of Perth's most exciting emerging jazz acts.
