Sizzling Strings features the mastery of internationally acclaimed virtuoso guitarist Bruce Mathiske.

Ana Cantanhede emigrated to Perth from Brazil in 2005 and her paintings give an insight into her experience of life between the two cultures.

The groove and intimacy between singer Juliana Areias and guitarist Jose Henrique embraces several shades of the Brazilian music spectrum.
Juliana's career, centered on traditional Brazilian popular music, includes a performance at the revered Montreux Jazz Festival, while Jose Henrique evolved from a pivotal role in the Brazilian 80's rock movement, to performing with Latin Jazz groups in the US and Australia.

Duets of Duality is a showcase of three of Perth's finest dups.
Turn is an exploration of electronic and guitar-scapes mixed with deep sounds and journeys into the dance side of life, while Intenso33 chew through dark chordal landscapes, preaching a message of dirty improvised funk. Meanwhile, pianist Tal Cohen combines modern classical music, traditional Jewish folk music, and jazz.

Learn Brazilian drumming from Carioca master drummer Carlos Ferreira.
Ferreira comes from the home of Samba, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and has spent decades teaching percussion around the world.
Ferreira will demonstrate instruments used in the 'Bateria' section of a samba school with participants learning a range of techniques to gain a true appreciation of the samba feel.
