    JEZ LOWE AND KATE BRAMLEY

    For the last twenty years, UK folksinger Jez Lowe has toured the world, building up a formidable reputation in the USA, Australia and Europe, with his toe-tapping melodies and bittersweet lyrics.

    Joining him onstage is superb singer and fiddle-player, Kate Bramley, not only a member of Jez's band The Bad Pennies and US band Sweetgrass, but also a popular solo artist in her own right.

    Zigatango combines the flavour of gypsy music with the fiery passion of the Argentinean tango.

    Featuring Geoffrey Pearce (violin), Siobhan Finn (viola), Richard Watson (accordion), Justin Story (guitar) and newest member Greg Coles on bass, this 2008 WAMI nominated band promise a dynamic night of gypsy melodies along with the passionate tangos of Astor Piazzolla, with the occasional foray into folk, jazz and 70s rock!

    Colum Sands has performed in over 30 countries around the world, confirming a universal appeal for the songs and stories with which he observes the minute and often humorous details of life. His performance has evolved into witty and evocative story-telling through song.

    Sands was recently presented with the 'Living Tradition Award' for services to Folk and Traditional Music.
