Haider Altaey - MULTIPLE SELF
A series of oil paintings by Iraqi artist and graphic designer Haider Altaey.
The exhibition investigates the relationship between identity and environment with vibrant representations of water and land in stunning blues, greens and ochres.
Haider immigrated to Western Australia in 1994. In Multiple Self he explores the ways we adapt to new environments, notions of ego and issues of identity.
Haider's artwork features in private collections across the globe,
from Sweden to Iraq, Australia to Saudi Arabia.
