Haider Altaey - MULTIPLE SELF
A series of oil paintings by Iraqi artist and graphic designer Haider Altaey.
The exhibition investigates the relationship between identity and environment with vibrant representations of water and land in stunning blues, greens and ochres.
Haider immigrated to Western Australia in 1994. In Multiple Self he explores the ways we adapt to new environments, notions of ego and issues of identity.
Haider's artwork features in private collections across the globe,
from Sweden to Iraq, Australia to Saudi Arabia.

For over a decade, The Last Five Coins have been performing their unique take on dance music from the villages of Europe at local and national folk festivals.
Played on a range of European folk instruments such as the hurdy gurdy, accordion, cornemuse, darrabukka, tapan, mandolin and rebec, together with some 'imports' such as mandocello and guitar,
their upbeat tunes will entice you to the dance floor.

Ciao! Celebrate unity through diversity with traditional and contemporary Italian folk songs.
Directed by Elie Koineiher with Nick Pylarinos on piano accordion, the choir will be led by acclaimed baritone Sitiveni Talei for the first time.
An Australian National University graduate, Sitiveni is appearing courtesy of the West Australian Opera Company and has been performing with them since 2005.
