KOROCHOGO - INSPIRATION FROM KENYA
Tom Otieno and Danson Mwaumba Kibandiko started photography together while still in high school and now run Afrishot21, an independent documentary photography company.
The photographs in their exhibition Korogocho are a glimpse of life in Koch, Kenya, as seen by the duo. Tom and Danson have captured the spirit of the Koch community, depicting the dignified life led by its members - a stark contrast to the numerous challenges they face due to lack of finance and years of neglect by the Kenyan government.
