BANNER PROJECT EXHIBITION
Until Friday 10 February Neda Starac is an acclaimed artist having exhibited in 19 solo shows and numerous group projects. Neda worked with 60 people and children from six different communities that were involved over five months in developing the banners reflecting on life in South Lake. The Banner Project is an expression of community storytelling that is rich in diversity and personal reflections. The banners express a symbolic representation of their lives in South Lake. The project was sponsored by Healthway, City of Cockburn and the Disability Services Commission.

Featuring Sri Lankan born percussionists Ray Pereira and Kanchana Karunaratna, Maha Bera perform material based on the rhythms and drums of Cuba, Sri Lanka and West Africa. Ray is recognised as one of Australia's premier percussionists having performed with Vince Jones, Kate Cebrano, Christine Anu, Paul Kelly, Yothu Yindi and Archie Roach.
