    INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS DAY CONCERT

    KULCHA Multicultural Arts of WA in collaboration with the City of Melville and the WA branch of Amnesty International Australia are proud to celebrate International Human Rights Day.


    FREE COMMUNITY EVENT





    Join a vibrant feast of talented multicultural dancers and musicians including Perth's Noongar chanteuse Gina Williams, Sudanese dancers, Tamil Association and Arabic music by Fadhila Veal, as well as children's workshops from the South African Children's Choir and Wadumbah Aboriginal Dance Group, poetry reading by Sudanese Human Rights poet Afeif Ismail Abdelrazeg, henna tattooing, African braiding and much more.

    A highlight of the afternoon's events will be the presentation of awards in commemoration of local Indigenous Human Rights Activists and the centenary of the 1905 Aborigines Act. This year's event highlights the human rights of Indigenous groups in our own country and the campaign to 'Stop Violence Against Women'.
