Internationally recognised composer Ross Bolleter, known for his unique on-the-edge approach to accordion improvisation, is making a guest appearance with Ozmosis. Playing a collection of wind and string instruments, Mark Cain and Tim Chambers invite you to an evening of adventurous excursions into a lively repertoire of Eastern European and Hispanic music. The evening will also include an energetic folk dance bracket and guest appearances from David Kaloczy and Simon Rovis Hermann.

Celebrate 48 years of Malaysian independence. On 31 August 1957, Allahyarham Tunku Abdul Rahman proudly declared the independence of Malaya (now Malaysia) by shouting out Merdeka seven times at the Merdeka Stadium. Malaysian independence was achieved through peaceful resolution by talks with the British and realised by three cultures and religions. The event features music and tasty Malaysian treats.
