SALAMANDER Jazz fusion Salamander are the funkiest and freshest jazz group to come out of WA. Combining jazz with the attitude of hip-hop and dance music, Salamander showcases what can be generated when the best of acoustic and electronic sounds are combined. Launched nationally in May 2003 at The Basement, the night dubbed 'A Funk Affair' saw the venue completely sell out with more than 200 people turned away.
