    Bulgarity Bulgarity and Left Hand the Universe CD launch
    Manic capers between saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist Mark Cain and accordionist Ross Bolleter. The evening will also feature the launch of Ross Bolleter's CD Left Hand The Universe - compositions, improvisations and stories for seven musicians playing left handed on an undefined number of ruined pianos on three continents. The CD featuring virtuosic performances and dizzying conceptual insights will be launched by Robyn Johnston of ABC Radio and with special appearance by the celebrated, improvising flautist Tos Mahoney.

    Fiesta Kultura presents Brazilian Carnival 2000 A sensational evening featuring the amazing QUE? an eight piece band, which brings to life the roaring Brazilian sounds of Bossa Nova, Samba, Baiao, and other infectious Brazilian rhythms. Lambada dance presentations, the sale of authentic Brazilian food and drinks, projection of a video of the Rio street carnival parade, are only some of the attractions of Brazilian Carnival 2000.     This two hour workshop for beginners will introduce to the participants the basic postures, movements and gestures of classical Egyptian dance. After the workshop, Keti who has been a performer in Cairo and regularly visits Egypt will give a demonstration of this exquisite art form to the participants
